Salt Spring Island is the largest of the Gulf Islands, located in the Strait of Georgia between the mainland of British Columbia and Vancouver Island.

Getting to Salt Spring Island

Salt Spring Island can be reached by ferry or by air:

1.BC Ferries operates ferries from Vancouver (Tsawwassen), Victoria(Swartz Bay), Duncan (Crofton), and the other Gulf Islands. Schedules and rates are available on the BC Ferries website.

2.Sea Air has regular flights to Vancouver International Airport. Their prices include a free shuttle to the Vancouver International airport terminal. Schedules and rates are available on the Seair website.

3.Harbour Air flies to Vancouver Airport and Vancouver Harbour. Schedules
and rates are available on the Harbour Air website.

4.Kenmore Air flies to Seattle. Schedules and rates are available on the Kenmore Air website.

Getting around the island


The Ganges Hill B& B is centrally located on the Fulford-Ganges Road, just before the village of Ganges.

When coming from Fulford Harbour, follow the road to Ganges until you see the sign on the left-hand side of the road.

When coming from the Long Harbour and Vesuvius Ferries, follow the road towards Fulford Harbour through Ganges, and look for the sign on the right-hand side of the road.
